How Are Scholarships Awarded? Criteria for awarding scholarships is determined by the local Board of Directors. Using a point system, the Awards Committee anonymously scores the applications. The committee’s recommendations for awards are presented to the Board of Directors for approval. Scholarships are presented at the Senior Award Ceremony held annually in May. Organizations and individuals making awards through DCSF may specify attendance at a specific institution or educational program as part of their selection criteria. |
